Dear another parent at the day care – I do not need you to comment on my kid’s age and weight. He might be underweight or overweight. It is not your concern. If you don’t have anything nice to say, please don’t say anything at all.
Dear cashier at the departmental store – I know it looks pathetic if you see a little kid asleep in the cart, but trust me when I say that I do not like it either. I am more worried about my son’s welfare than anybody else. So, please don’t give us suggestions saying that “your kids comfort is more important than shopping”. Just because you are older than us and because you are from India just like us, it does not make it okay to give out suggestions without knowing anything about why we are shopping when my little one is sleepy.
Dear co-passenger – Thank you so much for offering to exchange your seat so that my little one was able to sit next to me in the window seat on a 4 hour plane ride. You have no idea how much easier it was for us. Thank you very much.
Dear friends and other people who seem to think that I have a tough life because I have to take care of two kids and work – be rest assured that it is not that bad. Yes there are days when I desperately want my mom here so that I can get some rest. But, there are other times when I feel blessed to have two adorable kids. They are my kids and I don’t think of them as burden. There are so many people out there who have to go through a lot more than me on a daily basis. So, please don’t say that I am having a tough time.
Yay!!! This is my 200th post! Thank you all my friends who take time to read my posts and comment 🙂
